Areas We Cover
Based in Milton Keynes. Recovery covers roughly an hour's drive. Vehicle transport goes a lot further, including UK-wide.
Not sure you're in range? Ring and ask. The answer is often yes.
Recovery and breakdown area
The boundary is a rough radius rather than a hard line, so it's always worth asking.

Milton Keynes
Home ground, and where most jobs are. Every grid road, estate and industrial area, plus the usual spots around the retail parks and the station.
Newport Pagnell
Minutes away, including the M1 junction 14 area and the services.
Northampton and Towcester
Regular territory up the A508, M1 and A43 corridors.
Bedford, Buckingham, Aylesbury
Covered routinely, along with the villages in between.
Motorway and A-road breakdowns
Milton Keynes sits between the M1, the A5 and the A421, so a lot of local recovery work happens on fast roads.
If you break down on a motorway, get safe first. Onto the hard shoulder or into an emergency area if you can, hazards on, everyone out and behind the barrier, then call. On a smart motorway with no hard shoulder, if you can't reach an emergency area and can't leave the vehicle safely, stay belted in with hazards on and call 999.
Recovery from a live carriageway is controlled by the traffic officers, so the sequence is always: get safe, call for help, follow instructions. Once the vehicle can be reached, it gets collected.
Vehicle transport area
Transport jobs aren't bound by the recovery radius. Collection and delivery runs UK-wide, with Milton Keynes a practical base thanks to the M1 and A5.
How far is an hour?
The recovery radius is a rough hour's drive rather than a drawn boundary, and traffic makes the edges move. Milton Keynes sits well for it, with the M1 on one side, the A5 running through and the A421 linking east to west.
To the north that reaches Northampton and the villages around it. East takes in Bedford and the Marston Vale. South covers Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and as far as Aylesbury. West runs out past Buckingham and Towcester towards Brackley.
If you are near the edge of that, it is still worth a call. Where the vehicle needs to end up matters as much as where it is starting, and a job heading back towards Milton Keynes often works when one heading away would not.
Local jobs that come up most
The grid roads
Breakdowns on the V and H roads, where there is usually somewhere safe to pull in but not always somewhere obvious to wait.
M1 junctions 13 to 15
Newport Pagnell services and the stretch either side, including the A509 and A422 approaches.
Village lanes after rain
Soft verges and field entrances out towards Olney, Hanslope and the Buckingham side, which is most of the winching work.
Car parks and driveways
Flat batteries, cars that will not come out of park, and vehicles that have sat long enough for the brakes to seize on.
